INSTRUCTION TO FRONT PANEL CONNECTION
Due to the tag and pin assignment of front panel connector may vary for different type of motherboard, we can only provide a general guideline for the wire connection. You should refer to your motherboard installation manual for detail.
FRONT PANEL AUDIO CONNECTORS
Connect MIC (R) to (MIC POWER or MIC_BIAS) and MIC (L) to (MIC_IN or MIC), GND to (GND or Ground), to the correspondent motherboard connector for microphone input. If there were not enough GND connector in your motherboard, at least connect one GND.
Connect Line out (L) to (SPK L or L_OUT or L) and Line Out (R) to (SPK R or R_OUT or R), GND to (GND or Ground), to the correspondent motherboard connector for headphone or audio output for left and right channel respectively. If there were not enough GND connector in your motherboard, at least connect one GND.
Connect Line in (L) / Line in (R) to the correspondent motherboard connector for audio input device if your motherboard provide these connectors (Note: Some motherboard might not have these connectors then just leave these connectors alone.)
FRONT PANEL USB CONNECTORS

Some motherboard may have more than two pairs of front panel USB connector, you can pick any pair of USB port and leave the extra USB port alone. Once you select USB port on your motherboard, follow the pin assignment of your motherboard, connect USB connectors to the corresponding USB front panel connector on your motherboard.

Connect USB connectors VCC to USB power port (or USB+5V), USB1-/USB2- to USB data port ¡§¡V¡§ (-D or USB-), USB1+/USB2+ to USB data port ¡§+¡¨ (+D or USB+), GND to GROUND (GND) and leave extra connectors such as NC (Normal Closed) or GND alone. (Note: Please pay attention on USB pin connection, wrong wire connection will cause USB device damaged)

IEEE-1394 CONNECTOR
Connect TPA+, TPA-, TPB+, TPB-, VP, VG, GND (SHIELD) to IEEE1394 (Firewire) connector.? Depend on your motherboard, if your motherboard did not provide this kind of connector then just neglect it.
